Mary-Sarah O'Hanlon, Artistic Director

Mary-Sarah O’Hanlon has over 25 years of experience teaching Irish Dance, circus, gymnastics, ballet and yoga. She earned her T.M.R.F. from CLRG in 1991. She is a TCRG and ADCRG with Rince Tuatha Nua. Mary-Sarah received a certification in Variety Entertainment from The Royal Society of the Arts (UK) and performed 30 feet in the air - with no net! - on the static trapeze and as a Ringmistress and fire-eater with Zippor's Circus in England. She has a BA in English Literature and Anthropology from Boston University and is a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-500).

Mary-Sarah is available to teach workshops in Irish Dance and yoga, judge feisanna and to choreograph for plays and events. Contact her at the Flying Irish Studio for more information.

Miss Trish, Younger Beginners

Miss Trish has been teaching the Flying Irish's littlest dancers since 2015. Originally from West Cork, Ireland, Trish did competitive Irish Dance in the Boston area as a way to stay in touch with her Irish roots. She gets endless delight from watching her dancers learn about her heritage through Irish Dance.

Assistant Teachers: Tatiana, Stephanie & Hannah

The Flying Irish Studio mentoring program gives teenagers the opportunity to assist in classes, becoming mentors to our younger dancers. Miss Tatiana is a top ranked National competitor, placed 7th in Open Champion at CRDM's All Irelands in 2016 and is a World Champion medal holder from 2014. She works with Beginner & Intermediate classes. Miss Stephanie has been assisting the beginner class since fall 2016. She won her first Nationals at the Beginner level in 2015 and has moved into the Prizewinner level in the majority of her dances. Miss Hannah will be joining the assistant teacher staff in the fall of 2017, working with Trish & our youngest beginners.
